The importance of the relationship we have with our significant other has drawn me to working with couples. I have learned, from the couples I have worked with and from my own marriage, having a secure connection with your partner can provide a safe haven from life’s countless other obstacles. However, your world may feel upside down when your relationship is strained. In my work with couples, as well as, from my education and training, I have come to find it is possible for couples to build or regain the connections they so strongly desire. Couples can achieve these connections even when facing extraordinary issues of hurt and distrust. I am fortunate to get to work with couples everyday who allow me to be a part of their journey in building the relationship they need with their significant other.

I have completed an Externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Levels 1 & 2 of the Gottman Method Trainings. I use EFT methods to work with couples in understanding what is causing the disconnection in their relationship. With this knowledge, we work together to help move towards the safe and secure connection they desire.
